Susan Vernon
M.Ed., BCBA, RBA (Ont.)
Susan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Registered Behaviour Analyst in Ontario. She has worked in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis since 2002 — with young children, teens, and the adults who care for them.
Her approach is family-centered and evidence-based. Sessions happen where life happens: at the kitchen table, at bedtime, in the community. Plans are written in plain language so the whole family can use them.
Susan founded CAPAX Behaviour Inc. to make behaviour services feel less clinical and more like a partnership. The name comes from the Latin word capax, meaning capable. We start from a place of capability — believing every child can learn, grow and make meaningful progress.
She holds a Master of Education and completed her behaviour analysis coursework at Penn State University. She practices under the standards of the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
People who see capability first.

Part-time, goal-specific therapy.
Parents determine the goals — and we pair your family with therapists who have a high degree of specialization in exactly those goals.
No monthly or overarching fees. It's a pay-per-service or pay-per-session model — you only pay for the sessions your family actually uses.
Susan provides clinical supervision, typically bi-monthly — either through team group supervision or by sitting in on a session.
Supervision keeps every session true to evidence-based strategies and curriculum, with troubleshooting feedback to help your child master each skill.
